Figures IV

I was asked to do a demonstration at Jerry's Artarama, a wonderful store where I buy my supplies. I have never done a demonstration like this before. I truly enjoyed the experience, found it very easy to paint, answer questions and connect with the people who were watching. This is part of a series that I am working on.

Getting back into portraits and figurative, my true love! It's been quite awhile. Happy with this little miniature painting, it measure 4" x 4", I am going to try it again but crop in even closer.

Dinka Two

Dinka is an adorable Dachschund who is one of three mascots of our studio. A very dog friendly studio/gallery. He was adopted from the Humane Society and is a breath of fresh air to watch!

This is a very small painting, with the right frame (which I would love suggest) it could be a gem!

OK I am finished for the time being, I need to bring this to the Gallery to be shown. I may go back and work on this painting and crop it differently.
